Itinerary
1
Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Departure from your accommodation or Errachidia Airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Travel south through the Ziz Valley, where panoramic viewpoints reveal palm groves, traditional villages, and oasis landscapes.
Continue to Erfoud, a desert town known for its fossil workshops and its location near the Sahara. After an optional visit to a local fossil workshop, proceed to Rissani, the historic center of the Tafilalet region.
Depending on the local schedule, enjoy time to explore Rissani’s traditional market and old streets before continuing toward Merzouga.
Arrive near the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in the afternoon. Enjoy the desert scenery and an optional sunset camel ride.
Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Desert Circuit – Merzouga
After breakfast, begin a private 4x4 exploration around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Travel through changing landscapes of golden sand, rocky plains, small settlements, and desert vegetation.
Visit Khamlia, a village known for its traditional music and cultural heritage. Continue toward the former mining area of M’Fis and explore panoramic viewpoints around the dunes.
When conditions permit, you may also visit the seasonal lake near Merzouga and learn about traditional life in the surrounding desert communities.
Return to Merzouga in the afternoon. Optional activities such as camel riding, quad biking, buggy riding, or a desert camp experience can be arranged.
Second overnight in Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Taouz – Desert Tracks – Ouzina
Leave Merzouga and travel south toward Taouz, the final village before the remote desert tracks leading to Ouzina.
Continue by 4x4 across stony plains, dry riverbeds, desert plateaus, and peaceful landscapes far from the main roads. Along the way, stop for photographs and discover small settlements surrounded by the vast Sahara.
Arrive in Ouzina, a remote desert destination known for its orange-colored dunes and quiet atmosphere. Enjoy free time to walk near the dunes or admire the sunset.
Overnight in Ouzina.

Day 4: Ouzina – Taouz – Rissani – Erfoud – Errachidia
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Ouzina dunes. After breakfast, begin the return journey across the desert tracks toward Taouz.
Continue to Rissani and Erfoud, with optional stops for local markets, fossil workshops, or panoramic photographs.
Travel north through the Ziz Valley before arriving in Errachidia. Transfer to your accommodation or Errachidia Airport, marking the end of your private desert adventure.
