Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech

Depart Agadir for Marrakech via the highway. Upon arrival, meet your local guide to explore the red city on foot: the Koutoubia Mosque, historic palaces, exotic gardens, Saadian tombs, the ancient Ben Youssef Madrasa, as well as the bustling souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square.

Overnight stay after this immersion in Marrakesh life.

Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, depart southward, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2,260 m. The mountainous landscapes are spectacular, dotted with Berber villages clinging to the hillsides.

Stop at the legendary Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its adobe buildings and appearances in numerous films.

Continue to Ouarzazate, at the confluence of the Draa and Dadès valleys, to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the movie studios.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Todra Gorge – Erfoud

Departure in the morning for Erfoud, passing through the palm grove of Skoura and the Valley of Roses in El Kelaâ M'Gouna.

Continue through the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations known as "monkey fingers."

Arrive at the Todra Gorge, with its impressive cliffs over 200 meters high, ideal for a short walk.

Drive to Erfoud, known for its fossil quarries and desert landscapes.

Day 4: Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure for Rissani, an ancient caravan city and traditional market in Tafilalet. Explore the lively local souk before heading to Merzouga, at the gateway to the Sahara.

Visit the village of the Gnawa, musicians descended from slaves from sub-Saharan Africa, for a session of traditional music.

Continue to the hamada, a stone desert, to meet nomadic families over mint tea.

In the late afternoon, take a camel ride in the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay in a camp under the starry desert sky.

Day 5: Merzouga – N'Koub – Zagora

After sunrise over the dunes, return by camel to the starting point, then depart for Zagora.

The road passes through beautiful palm groves and several traditional Berber villages.

Stops are planned for meals and photos.

Arrival in Zagora, in the heart of a peaceful oasis, for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Zagora – M'Hamid – Erg Chigaga

After breakfast, departure for M'Hamid along the Draa Valley.

Stop in Tamegroute to visit its famous Koranic library and green pottery workshops.

Then, a 60 km off-road track through sandy plains and isolated dunes to Erg Chigaga, one of Morocco's wildest deserts.

Traditional dinner and night in a bivouac in the heart of the Sahara.

Day 7: Erg Chigaga – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Tata – Agadir

Early morning wake-up call to enjoy the sunrise over the sand.

After breakfast, departure by 4x4 along the Paris-Dakar trail, crossing the dry lake of Iriqui and the landscapes of the "Moroccan Colorado."

Stop at Foum Zguid, then continue to Tata for lunch.

In the afternoon, drive to Agadir via the Anti-Atlas Mountains and lush green oases.

Final stop in Taroudant, nicknamed "Little Marrakech," before arriving in Agadir at the end of the day.
